If you are looking to learn more about CorePower Yoga and how you can get started, you’re in the right place!

How it all began

Trevor Tice, CorePower Yoga Founder and CEO, first discovered his passion for yoga when a climbing accident severely injured his ankle. This injury made his normal routine of climbing and running no longer possible. However, this turn of events was a blessing in disguise as it led Trevor to yoga. He was instantly hooked and decided to explore all this activity brings to the table!

As Trevor’s work in technology took him all across the country, he was able to explore many different types of yoga. While he had a deep appreciation for what each of these types had to offer, he noticed that there was a need for a yoga practice that was more challenging and fast paced. This led him to open his own yoga studio in Colorado in 2002. This practice was quick to grow in popularity. Now, CorePower yoga has over 200 studios all over the country!

The CorePower Experience

CorePower Yoga combines a physically intense workout with the mindfulness of a traditional yoga class. This combination makes it a fantastic way to support holistic wellness! Each class has a multitude of benefits including improved flexibility, strength, balance, and stress relief. Teachers will guide you through each class, using their extensive knowledge to help you get the most out of each workout. In addition, they help foster the welcoming and supportive community that can be found at each studio.

A variety of different classes are offered, so you can find the best option to support your own unique fitness goals! CorePower 1, 1.5, 2, and 3 classes range from foundational to advanced vinyasa yoga. This allows you to take a class based on the level of challenge you are looking for within this practice. The Core Restore class involves a more low intensity class that centers on breath, stretching, and holding poses. Hot Power Fusion classes take place in a heated room to get a deeper stretch through power yoga poses. Yoga Sculpt classes combine yoga, cardio, and weights to help boost your metabolism while building muscle. The final class offered is CorePower Strength which involves a higher intensity of strength training to prioritize building muscle and getting your heart pumping. With so many classes to choose from there’s bound to be one that clicks with you!

Core Values

The 4 key pillars of CorePower yoga make this studio stand out from the rest by showing how their practice aligns with certain values. The first pillar is everyone. CorePower yoga is a space where every person is made to feel welcome and safe. An advisory council works hard to set goals that prioritize making each studio equitable, diverse, and supportive. The steps taken to achieve these goals are available on their website, showing just how dedicated this company is to positive change. The second pillar is community. This studio provides members with a friendly environment that makes it easy to connect with others. This connection can add further support, motivation, and enjoyment to each workout!

The third pillar is balance. This pillar is upheld through the structure of the classes incorporating challenging workouts with mindfulness and rest. The final pillar is practice. This last pillar represents how consistency and showing up for yourself will allow you to feel all the benefits yoga has to offer. CorePower yoga upholds all these pillars in their practice to develop a space that supports you as you work towards your goals!
